Description Templates provide a means of applying several attributes (keywords and field values) to a selection of files with a single click. Templates are very good for describing common subjects such as a model or an item.

A photographer could create a template for each model that she photographs. If custom fields have been added to store Name, Height, Weight, Build, Eye Color, Hair Color, Skin Complexion, etc. then the template for each model would simply contain the corresponding field values for that model (or the properties could have been applied using Keywords). Templates remove tedium from applying detailed descriptions based on subject.
