Keyword Search

Purveyor discovers Keywords in each folder and groups them in a
search list removing the need to manually type keywords or
guess what terms are available (WYSIWYG searching). Place a check next
to one or more keywords, right-click the mouse and results display in
the thumbnail view in real time... that means FAST.
Each keyword displays the number of times it occurs in the current
results providing an interactive experience when filtering on
increasingly specific details.
Adding keywords to a batch of media files is as simple as selecting
relevant thumbnails with the mouse and using the Ctrl+T (single keyword)
or Ctrl+K (multiple keyword) hotkeys. Keywords can also be set from the
fullscreen mode to guarrantee perfect description accuracy.
Define and group an unlimited number of keywords. Once a keyword has been
added it never needs to be typed again. Unify the terminology used within
a peer or work group by sharing a Vocabulary file (optional).
All Metadata Welcome
Search EXIF information added by a digital camera or IPTC keywords added
by other applications. Media Purveyor will even search ID3(v1.1) fields,
JPEG Comments, and PNG Key/Values.
User Defined Fields (advanced)
Advanced users may author their own description schemes with
user defined fields to collect information critical to specific business
or personal needs. User defined field definitions (called Entry Screens)
can be shared with peers to form a structured de-centralized (disconnected)
database. For a discussion of using Media Purveyor within a business
see Enterprise.
