Selecting Thumbnails
From the Media Browser screen, almost every single feature of Media Purveyor
works off the selected thumbnail(s). It is therefore important to know how
to operate the thumbnail scrollbox efficiently.
Selecting a Single Thumbnail
Left-click the mouse to select a thumbnail.
Batch Selecting
To select a batch of thumbnails, first select a single thumbnail. Next,
hold down the Shift key and click on a second thumbnail. All thumbs from the
first to the second thumb clicked will be highlighted.
Adding a Single Thumb to a Batch
Hold down the Ctrl key while left-clicking the mouse over thumbnails
to select or de-select them without clearing a batch selection.
Clearing a Batch Selection
Left click any thumbnail that is not in the current selection without
holding down Shift or Ctrl and the selection will clear and that one
thumbnail will select. Also, pressing the ESCape key will clear the
current thumbnail selection.
Re-Ordering Thumbnails
For some operations, such as generating a numbered series, it is
useful to move a thumbnail from one location to another. Simply drag
and drop the thumbnail to its new location.
Scrolling Thumbnails
The scrollbar on the right may be used but perhaps the easiest
method is using the scrollwheel on the mouse. The default scroll amount
is an entire page. To scroll only half a page with each turn of the
mouse wheel hold down the Ctrl key.
